Trouble creating OneNote folder on FTP site - keeps locking up.

I tried to create a new OneNote folder on an FTP site but keeps locking up.
I also tried syncing existing folder to the site but that didn't work either.
Not sure if I'm doing this wrong or if there is a problem of some kind.

OneNote does not support creating notebooks on FTP sites. To use OneNote
with a web server you'd have to configure the server to use WebDAV or
SharePoint.
