Trouble Editing Saved Data

Hello,
I have created multiuser MS Access 2007 Database for reporting
purpose. Back end resides in the server and front in multiple user
PC’s. The Database works fine in multi user environment. But now I am
encountering some problem while more than one user trying to edit the
previously entered data. I am getting some error message saying “You
can’t go to the specific record” Database is locked up etc. and no
more editing is possible at that time. Some edit forms are in data
sheet view while others are in form view. Your Kind help and advice is
highly appreciated.
Thank you.

Every user must have read/write/edit/ and delete priviledges to the BE file
AND the folder it resides in.

Rama, it's usually not necessary to make the same post three times in the
course of an hour. We're all volunteers here; and this is a newsgroup, not a
chat room - instant response is not typical. Have some patience!

My guess is that you have two users attempting to edit the same record at the
same time. Is that likely?

You've done well to split the database into frontend and backend, but that
won't help if you have users conflicting with each other.

Thank you very much Mr. John for your response. My apologies for
posting the message thrice. From my previous experience I noticed that
the message is appearing instantly.
As you explained, next day I found one guy kept open the data for
editing while other one was trying to edit it and that was the cause
of the problem.
