trouble formating an exported crystal report in MS Word

I have a Crystal Report intended for catalog printing that I exported into
Word as either a Word Document or as a Rich Text Format so that I can try to
accomplish 2 things that I could not accomplish in Crystal Report:

1. ability to mirror margins such as the inner margin is .5" and outer
margin is .3125" whereas the top & bottom are both at .25".

2. closen the gap on the rightmost 2 columns of data which had to be
separated into 2-3 section due to an overlap description field

So when I tried to do a mirror margins, I notice the margins appear on the
grid when I view even pages, but I notice nothing gets shifted probably
because the Crystal Report export is treated as an object. I also notice
that the page header & page footer from Crystal seems to appear as part of
the body of the document, and I cannot seem to cleanly figure out how to
closen the gaps on the last few columns of data in an attempt to save
numerous pages because of the unnecessary whitespace.

I can provide printscreens to better illustrate this. Please advise on if
possible how I can accomplish this at all because this project was actually
due today and I'm under tremendous pressure to get it done.
