For more than 3 years, I have used the printer above successfully to print
documents in both non-duplex and duplex mode. However, recently, I've
experienced problems getting certain .docs to print even part of the
document.
All applications that print, do so in duplex and non-duplex mode properly.
That is, they
print any other document correctly. The problem is that certain Word
documents simply won't print at all. That is, under normal settings Word
sends the documents in their entirety to the spool, but for reasons I can't
explain, the spooler never prints them.
I'm fairly confident that these .doc files are somehow corrupted. However,
I have yet to determine how they are corrupted, so I've had no way to remove
the corruption. The things they all have in common are that the contain
graphic images, and they contain large (larger than a printed page) tables.
Aside from that the document contains page headings and normal text in True
Type fonts.
