Trouble inserting mp3 into PowerPoint 2000

Everyone here at school has PowerPoint 2000. Some of us
can insert mp3s into presentations and some cannot. All
of us are running Windows 98 SE.
Any ideas on what is causing this?

What happens when you try?

My suspicion is that the MCI settings in Win.INI and System.INI are
messed up on the problem computers. Read
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/multimedia.htm and pay
special attention to section 3, where it lists the information your INI
files should contain.

If that doesn't fix it, please post to the PowerPoint newsgroup and let
us know what's happening and what you already tried to resolve it.
