Trouble installing Endnote 7

A strange problem here ‹ When I do the recommended manual install of Endnote
7 on my G4 DP Mac (OS 10.3.7) to use with Word X, Endnote does not integrate
as it should with Word. The ³Cite While You Write² function does not appear
as it should under the TOOLS menu. I¹ve tried numerous times.

Endnote 7 does, however, install on my iBook, which uses the same system and
Word version.

Any ideas about what I could be doing wrong?

How very strange.

Exactly where on your computer did you put the EndNote add-ins?

The EndNote site says it needs to be at least Word 10.1.2 to work, is your
Word X updated to 10.1.2 on both computers?

Did you do the manual install on the other computer as well?

You do need to be installing as an administrator, I think.

With EndNote 8, what appears under the Tools menu is a "EndNote 8" entry
with a submenu, but I assume you aren't just overlooking it because it has a
different name than you expect.
