trouble installing Office '97

I am having trouble installing the Standard Edition of
Office '97 which has been previously installed on other
computers. I get a message saying that this is an
upgrade version and it cannot detect the valid components
to install. Do I need a new CD Key #?

Hi there

no u need another cd really...an ugrade assumers taht u
have the earlier version installed...what u could do is
installan earlier version first and than upgrade
