Trouble Installing

Michael Newland

I am installing Outlook 2003 accounts on an XP machne and we use a
Communigate Server. If I make a mistake during the setup and back/cancel
out the next time I come back I want the user logged in to start setup
fresh. My backing out puts files somwhere that keep me from gettng back to
the starting point. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of files on the local
machine. The user is logged in with an Active Directory account and roaming
profiles are not turned on. Thanks for your help

I'm not sure what you mean by "installing accounts." If you mean you're
creating a new profile, then the best course is to go into Control Panel and
check that profile's settings. This will help you determine the location of
any Personal FOlders .pst files. Once you delete those files, you can also
delete the profile itself.

When I start Outlook and then put in some ones e-mail address and server
name etc. I guess I am "creating a Profile". Someone else advised going to
Control Panel/Mail also. I searched for ,pst files but turned up nothing.
I think I do understand how to get rid of a profile now. Thanks for your
resposne.
