Trouble loading forms

Several people in my company are having trouble loading forms published to
the Organisational Forms Library.

The problems seem confined to OL2003 users. I assumed that they needed
upgrading to SP1, but even had the problem after upgrading. Basically,
attempting to open a message based on a custom form produces a message along
the lines of "Cannot open the custom form. Using a standard outlook form
instead".

If the form is copied into the user's personal forms library, then it is
loaded fine, but obviously if the central form is modified then the user will
continue to use the unmodified version.

Can anyone guess what the problem is?

After applying SP1, make sure you clear the forms cache to eliminate
problems created earlier.

I'd have them try creating a new item with that form before opening an
existing item.

OK, this is what I have tried so far:

1. Cleared form cache

2. Upgraded to SP1

3. Cleared form cache

4. Renamed frmcache.dat file

.... after all of the above, the forms on the Organisational Library will not
open ...

5. Copied the forms to the user's Personal Forms Library.

... the form opens ...

6. Deleted the forms from the user's Personal Forms Library

.... once again the form will not open ...

7. Opened the form in design mode from the Organisational library, and then
closed it.

.... now the form thus "force-loaded" opens, but none of other forms in the
Organisational Library.

Obviously I could go around and do this for every form in the Library on
every user's machine, but I'm hoping there is a better way.

Did you delete all the subfolders in the Forms folder where frmcache.dat
resides?
