trouble loading

I'm trying to laod office 2000 premium- when prompted for cd key-it will not take it? I have been using this program for a number of yrs. never any trouble. I just fdisked a drive and now need to simple install office! if anyone has ay ideas please let me know-much thanks-

I have the same problem with XP. Cannot reinstall Office

after a major crash and restore of the computer OS. Will
not take the key provided with the original CD. I am
therefore interested by the response.
