Every time I try to save a file using "save as" it displays an error message
saying this:
"Microsoft Office Word has stopped working ", Header 2- "Windows is
checking for a solution to the problem... "
Text changes (load bar remains): Header 1- "Microsoft Office Word is trying
to recover your information... ", Header 2- "This may take several minutes. "
It then takes approx. 10-20 seconds before the load bar disappears and the
text changes to: Header 1- "Microsoft Office Word has stopped working ",
Header 2- "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows
will notify you if a solution is available. "
This process happens every time. It sometimes restarts the program, and
other times it just ends (closes) it.
I have tried using the Repair function in Control Panel, I have uninstalled
Office 2007 and reinstalled it from the original CD.
I am having the same problem in Excel.
It seems like more than a coincidence that this only started after a WIndows
update was automatically installed.
Does anyone know how to fix it?
