trouble pasting charts from Excel to Word

Just got Office 2007, and am working on a Word document using a number of
charts I'm generating in Excel. When I leave the chart formatting alone, it
pastes just fine. When I format the chart area to eliminate the border and
then try to paste it, it cuts off part of the chart.
