Trouble pasting picture from Microsoft Project

Sometimes I need to paste pictures of a Microsoft Project
Plan (timeline with text) into PowerPoint and run into the
following problem: the text spacing becomes irregular in
the pasted picture. This only happens when pasting from
Microsoft Project. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

IIRC, Project lets you export as an image -- maybe a WMF? You might have
better luck with that than with a direct copy/paste.
