I have a small home office setup with two computers on a local intranet (I'll
call them "he" and "she" for clarity here) and I'm trying to publish Outlook
Free/Busy file (.vfb) information from Outlook 2000 on both of these machines
to a folder on the "she" computer.
I've been able to publish from the "he" computer to the FreeBusy folder on
the "she" computer but for some reason I can't manage to publish from Outlook
to this folder from the "she" machine herself.
In the "Publish at this URL:" window in Outlook on the "she" machine, I've
entered:
file://\\C:\Documents and Settings\Jim Hopkins\My
Documents\FreeBusy\jim-hopkins.vfb
In the "Search at this URL:" window, I've entered:
file://\\C:\Documents and Settings\Jim Hopkins\My
Documents\FreeBusy\%NAME%.vfb
. . . as indicated at: http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/freebusy.htm
I've read the article at: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/827775/en-us
I think I'm making a mistake in my file path but I've tried every variation
I can think of to the paths shown above with no success.
Any suggestions as what I'm doing wrong will be very welcome.
