Hi there,
I am trying to publish an excel spreadsheet to the web and save its
interactivity. question one is: is this even possible?
The spreadsheet consists of about 4 columns of data on the left, and several
tables from which the data comes from on the right. The tables have condition
formating applied so that they will not show on the web (can I hide these and
have the sheet still work?). The formulas used throughout the sheet are
VLOOKUP and INDEX.
When I try to publish the sheet to the web, I get an error message that
reads alon the lines of:
"Microsoft Office spreadsheet component could not load the XML Data.
Validation Load Error: for type list, the absense of a <cellrangelist> tag
implies relative cell references in the list values which is not allowed."
HELP! I did not use any XML coding in the spreadsheet (can't say I truley
know what this is anyway). Can I publish it? how? I want to maintain the
interactivity so that people can select their desired city/quarters from the
pulldown menu and have the data flow in. Thanks!
Emily
