trouble reading embedded docs.

I cannot read embedded docs on my new computer. It gives me the error
message that they are now missing or corrupt. I tryed posting on windows xp
and got no answer now for weeks. Can someone help me? I have a brand new
system and it has no viruses or corruptions...I had it tested thinking that
might help...but nada.

I have a laptop that runs office pro and it opens embedded docs just
fine...no it is not the document...I can open it fine on the other computer
and others can open it when i forward it to them of save it to disc and give
it to them.
