My daughter had a student version of Office 2007 installed on her computer.
When she started having problems with the computer we ended up reformatting
the drive and re-installing all of her applications. She told me her Outlook
was locking up and when I didn't have time to figure out what the problem
was, I ended up uninstalling Office 2007 and put Office 2003 back on her
machine. Later I tried re-installing Office 2007 (on top of Office 2003).
The installation was trouble free, but now whenever an application is started
it says Trial Version at the top of the application. It also prompts me to
convert to a registered version. I enter the product key code and then I'm
prompted to install the application (again). If I click okay, something of
an installation process occurs and then I'm right back where I started being
prompted to convert to a registered version of Office. I've run through this
loop several times, and now am seeking professional help. Any body know why
this is happening, and how I might correct the problem?
