Trouble saving document on network server says out of disk or ram

Can't save documents on my network server. error message says out of disk
space or ram. which is not possable

Let's have a few minor details like versions of Windows and Word, Server OS
and servicepack levels for all of these. Are you the only user with the
problem. Is it all documents or just one document? Any other significant
fact that we should know?

the answers are Windows XP SP2 and Office XP SP3, 5 computers but just me having this problem, but it's any document I try to save or change

Assuming that the server is patched up to date because none of the other
users are having a problem, it must be a third party add-in causing your
problem. Try starting Word in Safe Mode and testing. From Start, Run type in

winword /a

and press enter. In safe mode, Word bypasses all add-ins, templates, macros,
etc. and runs in its default install state. Open a document from the server,
make an edit and try to save and exit. Does it work now?

If so, you need to check for a third party add-in that you have installed
that other users don't (or have a different version.
