Trouble sending access database as attachment

J

JB

When I open the access database i created (or any other database for that
matter), i get a message "This file may not be safe if it contains code that
was intended to harm your computer. Do you want to open this file or cancel
the opertaion?", but it still gives me the option to open it. However, when I
try to send it, it either gets removed for possibly harmful code or it is
attached but the recepient is unable to open it.

Please help, I need to email the database to my professor, but not sure what
the heck is going on with it :(
Thanks for any help you can provide...

Try ZIPPING the file and sending it. That works in some cases.

You can also try changing the extension to .dat and include information in
the email on changing the extension back.

OR you can contact your professor and ask for guidance. If you are at a
university/college, then the IT department should have a method that would
work.
