When I have a word 2007 document open and try to then send it by email as an
attachment (with Outlook 2007 open), I keep getting an error message: "Word
couldn't send this document because of a Mapi failure. Then under help it
says: "This error can occur if you attempt to send a Word document as an
e-mail attachment in Word and the MAPI session was closed and Word is no
longer able to connect to that MAPI session. It can also occur if there is a
problem with the fax configuration."
My outlook, however, is open and working. I never had this problem with
Outlook 2003 and Word 2003. My IT guy says he doesn't know what the problem
is and suggests going back to Word 2003 and Outlook 2003. Any suggestions?
