Trouble upgrading 3.1 to 2007

I followed the instructions for upgrading/migrating my Groove account. I
installed the Migrator and uninstalled 3.1 but whenever I try to run the .exe
to install 2007, I get an error message saying the installation failed. There
is no error number - just a box that says "Operation Failed".

Are there any workarounds for this?

Hi,

I'm not sure what's happens. You can try to reinstall Groove 3.1 with
deleting exist Groove account data and then retrieve your account from
Groove.net or uninstall Groove 3.1 again, then run Groove 2007 installation
directly without Groove account exists. After sucessfully installing Groove
2007, retrieve Groove account again.

I re-installed 3.1, couldn't install 2007 - got the same "operation failed"
error. I uninstalled 3.1 again, still get the same error.

Do I have to have Office 2007 installed to upgrade to Groove 2007?
