Trouble with comments

I have lots of comments in a sheet. When turning on the
option to show all comments and indicators, only some of
them appear. When using "Edit Comment", the same comments
do not appear. When using "Show Comment", it only appears
once the cell is clicked once after Show Comment is
selected. Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Those may not be comments -- they might be Input Messages in a cell with
Data Validation.

To check:
1. Select a cell with one of the "hidden" comments
2. Choose Data>Validaton
3. Select the Input Message tab

You may see the text that appears in the comment. It will only appear
when the cell is selected.
