Trouble with dates after importing my old address book

J

John Dawkins

I recently had to format my C drive and before I did I
copied the pst files to my D drive where I could later
find them.

Once I had re-installed Office 2000 I imported the old
address book into Outlook 2000.

Every birthday and anniversary is now a day early,
although when I go into the calender under the 'Annual
Events' view, although the date has been retarded by one
year, the date of recurrence is still correct. If I open a
file in this window and view the recurrence screen, then
click OK and save the record, the date is rectified.

Regrettable I have 1240 records and am looking for a quick
fix.

Any suggestions?

Now you'll see why we post over and over in this group not to import PST
files. PST is Outlook's native format. There is never any reason to subject
it to an import.
Just create a new Outlook profile and configure it to use your old PST file.
I'll assume you know how. You did not post your Outlook version.
