Trouble with freezing up with address book

K

KenAFP

Every time I click to add an entry on my address book, my Outlook freezes up.
I have left it alone, thinking it was just processing, but it stays frozen
until i do a cntrl+alt+del and cancel the process. The address gets changed,
but it takes me out of outlook every time. Whatsup?

Clarify what actions causes the "freeze." Include error messages and Event
Viewer information. Verify your Outlook Address Book Service is installed
and working correctly.

No error messages.

What is the event viewer information?
How do I verify that my address book service is installed and working
correctly?

Event Viewer is an Administrative Tool in the OS that logs application
errors.
What do you see when you open your address book view in Outlook?
If you have further questions, state to which OS and Outlook version you are
referring.
