trouble with Office 2002 install

Install tells me that I don't have a qualifying update
product on my computer. So I attempted to load v. 2000,
which is not an update, and I got the same message. On
this new computer I also have WordPerfect Office 11. If
neither of these products qualifies, what does???

Hi C.C.,

MS Office 2000 is a qualifying product for Office XP/2002.
You don't need to install the qualifying product, just have
the Office 2000 CD handy when you install Office XP and
it asks for a qualifying product.

Corel WordPerfect is not a qualifying program for an
Office XP upgrade.
