Trouble with spelling features of onenote

S

Sammage

I was hoping someone could help me...

Everytime I try and change the spelling dictionary to anything other than
English (US),
it reverts right back to English (US) ( I had the same problem with the
trial) - what can I do to make a permanent change so that it won't revert
back after each word is spell-checked??

Thank you!

You need to change your Windows input language. OneNote takes the queue
of the language from Windows. You will have to set up the language in
the Regional Options in Windows using the same keyboard layout as your
default language.

NM - turns out that did work, just took a few restarts of Onenote to get it
to kick in!

Thanks for your help!!

Thanks for the tip. I did go check out regional options and it was set as
Canadian English (as what I am looking for) and did have to change the input
language from US to Canadian - and my computer was happy to do that and did a
restart. However, I still have the same problem with Onenote-it still keeps
switching back to US English after each word.

Is there anything else I can try, or something that I am doing wrong?
Thanks

Sorry, this is unrelated. I can't seem to start a new thread.

Anybody else find tags an exercise in frustration? I like OneNote and I use
it for class, but I've found that in both 2003 and 2007, the note tags are
borderline unusable.

I'd like to be able to order the tags in the summary pane by something other
than text (who would use that anyway??) and date. Right now, the only thing I
can do is cut and repaste a note to get it in the order I want. And what
really sucks about 2007 is that it now separates the tags in the pane into
days. What that means is I can't even do the cut and paste trick if I'm
tagging over two different days.

Honestly, did anybody put any thought into this at all??
