Using Word 2002, I inherited a document that has an org
chart drawn with text boxes, with text boxes used for
bullets underneath most boxes, describing the title.
The problem lies with the text after the last text box,
followed by a Figure Caption. If I try to mark text as
Heading 3, it acknowledges that it is now Heading 3 but
doesn't give me the numbers, only blank space where the
actual numbers would go, such as 3.1.2 (and puts it in the
TOC) BUT puts other numbers such as 4.1.1 in the middle of
this org chart above where I put the style Heading 3.
I'm thinking I may need to scratch this and start over
since it's only one page but how would you recommend me
doing this? Using the org chart feature and then add
tables for the descriptions? (I found that recommendation
in the MVP article entitled: The draw layer; a
metaphysical space)
thanks for any help,
Regina
