Trouble with the incoming mail format.

I have set no stationery for my Outlook. When I compose new messages, the
background is the default (white) and the font is according to my
specification. However, for all the incoming mail I receive, the background
in the mail message window is grey. I do not know how this got activated. Can
anyone please advise me on how to remove this, so that my incoming messages
are the standard white color.
