please help - I have tried to download and install Office
sr-1a for the past few days, just cannot seem to get it
right. I have dial-up, the internet connection stays on,
and it seems to be downloading, but I cannot tell if it is
installed.
I KNOW that there is a help page that tells you how to
tell if sr-1a is installed on your computer, and I printed
it out, but honestly can't bring myself to muddle thru it.
After I think I have installed it correctly, I go back to
the MS page that gives you your computer's installation
history, and the scan tells me it is not installed on my
computer. and of course, I cannot install any of the
other updates until this gets taken care of. I'm stumped.
