I have an idea that I like to implement with Groove Server, but I’m not sure
if it possible. I have looked on some web pages and guides, but haven’t found
a final solution.
What I want is following:
I have a File-server, on which there are a number of group folders.
I want to “Groove enable†those folders, so that those working on laptop
from outside the company network, can connect to and synchronize the files
from a given folder through Office Groove.
My idea is something like this:
File-server shares the group folder. =>
Groove Server maps the group folder shares. =>
Laptop with Office Groove connects to there given group through Groove and
synchronize the file with that folder.
Some of the users using Groove exists in our AD environment and some are
external users, all need to be able to connect and work from the different
Workspaces.
Is there anyone who has a similar installation or know of any configuration
guide which can help me reace my goal?
