OL2000 - Having trouble with Outlook being called up by my digital camera
image software. It works like many similar programs where you select an
image, go through a compression function and then it's suppose to bring up
your email client program - I use Outlook 2000 - so the image can be
attached to an email message and sent.
What's happening is when I go to the last step in the image software, I get
an Outlook error message as follows "Either there is no default mail client
or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run
Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client."
Then when I click OK on that window the following appears in another error
message window - "A message could not be sent via MAPI. Please enable MAPI
on your computer."
I've never used any other email program so I assume OL is my default mail
client plus I could not find any button or method to change it to my default
client if it isn't.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
