Troubles with Powerpoint versions

B

I have ppt 2002 at home and finished doing my presentation but then my office
has ppt2000, and when i opened it all the animations had gone to default and
some things seemed to be messed up inside. I have to hand in the work to my
boss this week, but does it mean that i will have to do it all over again in
the office?
There are like 440 slides, almost al of it has animations n then ppt2000
doesnt have that animation effect of gliding in simultaneously does it?
What should i do now, should i burn a CD at home n then wil it work without
losing the animations effect on any ppt version?
Thank you,

powerpoint version 2002 (aka xp) introduced a whole load of new animations.
Powerpoint version 2003 also has the same set of animations.

powerpoint version 2000 and 97 don't have such a big range of animations.

In powerpoint 2002 there is an option in

tools menu > options > edit > Disable New Features

if you tick the top 2
- new animation effects
- multiple masters

then you should be able to see what your 2002 presentation will look like on
powerpoint 2000. It also aids designing something that will be shown on
powerpoint 2000.

Another alternative is to download the new powerpoint viewer and use that to
show your ppt 2002 presentation
