What to do when continuous section breaks result in unwanted new page
breaks?
I'm working on a long document with two different margin widths - one
standard (1.25") and one wide (2.5") on the outside, so I can have
marginal notes in frames in the wide margin. I've separated the
different margin sections with section breaks. This works fine except
where I want a continuous break - i.e. I want part of the page to have
a narrow margin (to fit tables in) and part to have a narrow one (for
text and marginal notes). Every continuous break results in a new
page. I've unchecked all pagination settings in Layout (keep with
next, widow/orphan etc). I just can't figure out why Word keeps
breaking the page. It's driving me crazy.
