troubleshooting adding a password to a personal folders file

I have the Outlook 2007 trial version and I am unable to set a password to
the personal folders file. Every time I try I receive the following
response: The new password and Verify Password entries must be identical"
therefore I tried both ways with no results.

Hi Maria!

I can see no one has responded yo your request.
Now there is nothing like getting an error on a trial software, It's like it
is expected.

That is why we use a full version. But you probably have your reasons for
using the trial version.

Backup your pst and use scanpst tool (scanpst.exe)that is found if you have
installed some other version of office with outlook. (not older than 2002/xp)
It's also found in a KB on http://support.microsoft.com/kb

there migt be the fact that your pst is damaged.
