Troubleshooting Errors with Access 2003 Database

I have an Access database evidencing a number of problems:

Frequent difficulty of some individuals (not all) using their toolsets to
access the database tables (on a shared network drive). 3 have the same
laptop configuration and only 1 can get in easily; others wait up to 10
minutes.

At certain points, an error message appears indicating "disk error" but
without an error code.

This database has the tables located on a shared network drive and the
queries, forms and reports are located in a separate file on each user's
computer. The administrator indicates no apparent loss of data and that they
continue to have functionality at an acceptable level.

Macros were utilized in the development of dashboards and controls.

This may be too general for specific responses, but if there are questions
to narrow the focus, it might help. I'd appreciate any input offered.

NOT play nice with WiFi.

It's probably a network problem. Disk Error messages can be caused by network
interuptions. If the one user who can connect quickly is on a different
router or something, that could confirm it.

Also make sure that all the users have full privs to the folder holding the
backend database file. Not just the file, but the entire folder.

I will check the router issue, but it is a small office.
All users have the same priviledges on the folder.
Is there a comprehensive list of error codes that issue from Access
databases, to which I can refer (then troubleshoot)? In the case of the disk
errors, there was no number.

What good is a list of the error codes going to do you if you're getting no
error code?

As Jerry already said, this disk error is probably being issued by the
network, rather than by Access.
