Troubleshooting: How can I get language Icon indicator to re-appea

Can you help me troubleshoot this issue? Thanks! Running Office 2003. I
have other languages installed and toggle between them by clicking on the
2-letter Icon abbreviation on the task bar, for example EN for English, DE
for German, etc. The languages are all installed, or "set". But all of a
sudden the little Icon indicator has vanished. It does not reappear when I
click on show hidden icons. The language settings are STILL INTACT. I have
no way to switch back and forth now. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN FIND THE
LANGUAGE ICONS AND REINSTATE THE TOGGLE FUNCTION? Many, many thanks!

The Language Bar doesn't go to Hidden Icons. Right click
somewhere on the Task Bar then "Toolbars" and put a check
before "Language Bar".

When you've got the Language Bar back, right click on it and
choose options to set it up the way you want. In particular,
you should use the Left Shift+Left Alt combo to toggle
between the languages you've enabled.
