Troubnle installing Access

I just bought a new computer. When I uninstalled MS Office XP on one
computer and installed it on the new computer, MS Access does not work.
Word, Excel and Powerpoint do but Access does not. Any suggestions?

What sort of error message is "Does Not Work?"

Yesterday my car "did not work". Can you tell me what's wrong?

Relevant information, though I'm not sure, was that it was foggy yesterday and
I may have left my sidelights on. I deny it of course. But it's true, I turned
the starter and it went "crank-oink".

None of this is necessary to know. Surely "Does Not Work" is sufficient?
