I am having a persistent but variable sound problem using PowerPoint.
During record narration I find the sound recording on most slides gets
truncated. The recorded time cut off varies from a few seconds to 40+
seconds. When you go to the next slide it appears to be behaving
properly but then the recording just stops again. There does not appear
to be any pattern to the amount of time recorded. I have tried Garage
Band and QuickTime Pro and my recordings are flawless. So it does not
look like it is processor hang up.
Tech Specifications:
PowerBook G4
1.5 GHz
1 GB of DDR SDRAM
6 GB of free Hard Drive
PowerPoint 2004 for Mac Version 11.2.3 (060202)
Any ideas as I have lectures to record and have been wasting a mess of
time trying to solve this.
