truncated tasks on hotsync with entourage - problem/bug with ampersand &?

If I create a new task on my PDA "cup of tea & a biscuit" and hotsync,
I get a task in Entourage " a biscuit" although the task on the PDA
remains "cup of tea & a biscuit" and remains so on subsequent
hotsync's.

This behaviour is not exhibited for a similar task created in
Entourage.

Has anyone else observed this? Anyone discovered a solution or
workaround?

I'm using Entourage X sr1 (10.1.4) on OSX 10.3 with HotSync Manager
3.0.0 (installed with Palm Desktop 4.0) trying to sync my Handspring
Visor Edge (Palm OS v 3.5.2H2.0).

I can confirm this bug. I will report it to those who need to know within
MS.
