Truncation of Task notes

I use Tasks in Outlook 2000. Sometimes the notes I keep in the comment area
of the Tasks become quite long. Every now and then these Task notes suddenly
get truncated with a -
[Message Truncated]

Does anybody know how to stop this or how to get the missing text back?

This is a long shot, but are you perhaps syncing your Outlook tasks with a
PDA or similar device? If so, it might be the sync program or the other
device that is truncating your text.

Yes, you are right - not a long shot at all. I posted a similar question on
the Pocket PC discussion list. The response there is that all the notes
fields in PIM data records are limited to 64k.
Still have to work out if I can do anything about it though. But I'll
follow it through on the other thread.

I do not know the answer but I have the same problem. Evidently if you add
or change an entry on your PDA then if it uses too much memory, when you sync
witht he PC the note is truncated. I can not stnad this as I depend on my
notes to do business. I would at least like ot keep my PC from truncating its
notes. If you find out how to keep your computer fron truncating notes on
Outlook, please ntoify me.
