This one is a bit tricky. I have done some experiments but can not find the
root cause. I am using Access to generate a report and publish it into word
using the “Publish it with Microsoft Word†toolbar icon. When the report is
viewed in Access there is no truncation issue. However, when the report is
published into Word things start to get truncated. This truncation makes no
sense because it does not happen at a limit but at a certain range. If the
text is much larger than 76 (Arial 11pt) characters then there is no
truncation. The same goes for if the text is much smaller than 76 (Arial
11pt) characters. If I change the font to Times Roman there appears to be no
truncation. This truncation only happens when I publish into Word. When I
view the report in Access there is no truncation.
Does anybody know why this is happening?
