Trust sites

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to setup a trial project server 2007 in a client's machine,
everything is fine until I want to log into PWA or in Project Pro 2007, any
user (not even the user that was used to install) can log on.

I'm guessing that it is related to the inability of us to modify trusted
sites in IE. The problem is that the corporate politics avoid that any user
(not even this site IT staff, only the corporate staff can) to modify
trusted sites at Internet explorer

Is it neccesary that the PWA url is in the Trusted Sites to log in? . Any
other suggestion?

Thanks in advance

Eduardo

Yes, the PWA site must be in IE Trusted Sites. Not only that, but the
security level for Trusted Sites must be set to Low (Default in IE6, but not
necessarily in IE7). If the corporation wants to employ EPM, then the
corporate IT staff will need to allow the above settings. If they want
control, they can deploy them using an Active Directory Group Policy.
Hope you can convince them!

Thanks a lot, there would not be a problem to convince them as long as we
know this is a must.

You're welcome! Keep an eye on IE7. We've seen cases where it was set to Low
& then went back to Medium.
