If I understand you question correctly. That is based on how the Monitor
settings are set on the mac itself. How the widgets for drawing the
various window boxes is set by the system
Try quiting Excel the going to apple menu then system Preferences.
click on control panel for monitor note the size available. try setting
to the next size down. do this increments. because if you set to low
your fonts will look too thick and chunky.
also before doing that locate the icon on the menu bar that shows view
size. increase to 150, 200 percent. although you'll have to scroll to
see various parts of your worksheet. you should be able to increase the
sizes of the cell boxes as well as how large the digits and numbers look
on the screen.
also, I drool over your acquisition of the MacBook Air. If I got one I
don't know whether I'd choose the one with the smaller SSD Drive or the
larger spaced hard drive they say the ssd is much faster because its
solid state.
I AM USEING EXCELL ON MAC AND CAN NOT SEE THE BOX AROUND THE HIGHLIGHTED CELL. I WANT TO MAKE THE BOX AND SQUARE IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND CORNER - THE DRAG CORNER - BIGGER AND BRIGHTER. IT IS NOW IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE THESE ON THE OFFICE EXCELL 2004 INSTALLED ON MY NEW MAC BOOK AIR WHICH MAKES THE MAC AIR USELESS. PLEASE ADVISE.
