trying to copy names from excel to word

i am trying to copy names from excel to word and each time there are table
lines around each of the names. how do i get rid of the table lines so it
will just show as names on the page.

Use Edit/Paste Special and select the entry "plain text".

Hi,

one of some ways:

double click the cell in Excel, then:
pos1
shift end
Ctrl C

You got to copy the content of the cell only,
not the cell itself.
