trying to delete folder in Microsoft Picture Manager 2003

I am trying to delete a folder in MPM 2003. Under the "Recently Browsed"
folder I have a folder from a downloaded map that has been deleted long ago .

When I click on the folder I get a despription in the disply pane that reads
"Unable to load content" I know that means it is not there anymore and it
cannot find it.

I have tried to download the file of the map again and rename it to match
the directory to matches with what is in MPM (Microsoft Picture Managery so I
can delete the folder, no such luck. I get an error message that reads
"Cannot delete file: canot read from the source file or disk"....duh, its not
there anymore.

(Just a side note, the map was sent to me in a Corel .cdr format, do people
really use that?)

So here is an easy question, to what I am finding to be a difficult
solution: Why can't I clear the history of the "Recently Browsed" folder and
choose what I want to keep in it and what i do not.

Any help would be appreciated.

Corel uses the .cdr extension, and yes, anyone using Corel is very well
acquainted with the format. No different than .ai (Adobe Illustrator) or any
other vector extension.
