trying to download office 2007 from cd-says i need a newer version of windows xp- help

just bought an Office Enterprise cd through my company- put the cd i
and it tells me that the "specified program needs a newer version o
windows". I just re-installed windows xp 5.1 - the only windows cd
have. what can I do to fix this problem?

the 2007 ms office system requirements page says you need
Operating system Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack (SP) 2, Windows
Server 2003 with SP1, or later operating system3

i'd say try updating your version.
and consult the office online pages for enterprise. lots of help in the faq
and elsewhere.
