trying to find default e-mail listing

Help! I am not a pro at Outlook & find that it offers
automatic choices when I start to type in a name. For
example, when I start typing my friend Lisa's name it
pops up her address, evidently based on my using that
address previously. This is a great feature. My
question is -- where does it store these autotexts? I
have not entered special contact info for Lisa, she is
not in any of my personal or global address books. No
one in my office seems to know where to locate this
information, & I would love to see all the addresses
Outlook has stored for me.

Thanks,

J. O'Neill

The file is an *.NK2 file, but it is not accessible for opening, viewing or
editing. Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by
highlighting the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your
arrow key to migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before
you tab out of the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions
here:

Thanks for the info -- now I don't feel so bad that I
couldn't find a listing of these autotexts! It would be
helpful if there was an easy way to find out this fact
from Help -- those topics totally led me in the wrong
directions, checking address books, contacts list, etc.

Thanks again,

J.
