trying to import adresses from OE 6 to Outlook 2003

Hi,
I have a brand new PC (XP SP2) with freshly installed Office 2003 pro. I
created a PST and connected to IMAP Mail Server. Now I have trouble importing
adresses. Basic problem is, that in File menu Import/Export data is grayed
out. Means I can not even choose this Item. I have tried as a regular and as
I admin user. No change.
What is wrong? Never seen this kind of problem.

Please advise. Thank you.

You actually do not want to import the PST instead use the File, Open,
Outlook data file.

Maybe I was not clear enough. I do not have a PST file to import - a need to
import adresses from OE. I have a WAB file prepared and it was usually no
problem. But since I cannot choose File/Import and Export... (it is grayed
out), I see no solution. I have done this many times and never had any
problems. this is a first for me.

Did you check the Office installation to make sure the Importers and
Exporters were installed? Do you have Outlook Express configured to use the
WAB file as its address book?

Yes. I have all the Imp/exp installed and OE is configured to use WAB file. I
also imported WAB from old computer to the new one - I thougt this is the
problem. But no luck. Imp/Exp option stayed grayed out. go figure ;(

I have reinstalled Office 2003 and it somehow corrected the problem. I was
able to import old WAB file.
