Trying to install Office 03

C

Chris

Hello,
I had to format my computer this weekend, and just got XP Pro reinstalled,
and all the updates installed.

Now trying to reload Office 03 Pro.

When runing the setup, it gets about half way, and I get this error

Error 1335: The cabinent file 01561415.cab required for this installation
is corrupt and cannot be used. This could be a network error or an error
reading from CD Rom or a problem with this package.

I've checked the CD, and no scratches. I tried using 2 different CD Drives
and it stil happens.

What is causing this?

Hi Chris,

See if the other methods in this article help with Error 1335
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314810/en-us?FR=1
(It doesn't list Office 2003 under 'Symptoms' but it does in the listing of affected products at the bottom of the article.
