Trying to open a Visio 2003 drawing with Visio 2002

Is there a way to open a Visio 2003 drawing with Visio 2002? Our company does
not have Visio 2003 and I need to open the drawing up. It comes up with an
error messege whenever I try saying the file can not be opened because it was
created in a newer or unrecognized version of Visio.

you will have to get the document resent in v2002 (it can be saved as by the
sender), or you can download the visio viewer (which can read it but not
change it).
